How it was calculated
New products bought from a business have a 3-year warranty. For used products, the warranty can be reduced to as little as 18 months if this is written in the contract.
For online or distance purchases, you can cancel without giving a reason within 14 days of receiving the product. Purchases between private individuals do not have these guarantees.
